Reema's Story

Reema, 55 years old, lost her life partner and only support two years ago, finding herself suddenly responsible for a heavy burden she never imagined she would carry alone. She became the sole provider for her three children, facing life with all its harshness and challenges, without any stable source of income to meet her family’s needs.

Today, Reema lives on the support of charitable donors, and she is always grateful to have a home that shelters her and her children and provides them with some sense of safety and dignity. However, life inside this home is not easy. Every day brings new worries and greater responsibilities, while Reema tries to hide her exhaustion and anxiety behind the patience of a mother who fears for her children’s future more than she fears for herself.

What occupies Reema’s heart most is not food or comfort, but her children’s education. She sees education as the only hope that might change their difficult reality, and she dreams that her children will one day be able to build a better future and become the support that compensates her for years of hardship and deprivation.

She has two sons studying on scholarships, holding on to their dream of graduation despite difficult circumstances, while her third child chose to face life independently, working and studying at the same time to cover her own expenses without adding to her mother’s burden.

Despite everything this family is going through, Reema continues to plant hope in her children’s hearts and prays every night that their dreams will not be lost to poverty or need. But today, she needs someone to stand by her and give her some reassurance to continue this difficult journey.

Your support for Reema is not just financial assistance, but a message of hope to a mother who has struggled in silence with everything she has.
