Imagine a Jordan where any citizen can help those in need with a click from their smartphone.
Tadamon organizes fragmented societal and humanitarian cases by verifying them and making them available on a single online platform for donors to easily support.
Tadamon is a non-governmental organization registered in Jordan that supports the needs of people who are less fortunate. Types of support include health aid, education, nutrition, housing, environment, and more.
Societal and humanitarian cases of those in need are uploaded to Tadamon’s portal by Community Contributors who then undertake a verification check of the unverified cases.
Once the case has been verified, it is presented on Tadamon’s platform, including the mobile app and website.
Once live on Tadamon’s platform, we accept donations from Jordanian citizens in Jordan via a few clicks on their smartphone.

The exit of Souq to Amazon in 2017 was one of the largest tech transactions of the region. Souq was built from the ground up by the same team at Jabbar, who built the Maktoob portal before that. Maktoob was born out of a simple idea but with a vision that the Arabic Internet will grow and become an integral part of everybody's life, and grew to become the largest Arabic Internet property before Yahoo acquired it in 2009.
Both the Souq and Maktoob stories have become inspiring success stories in the region, where budding entrepreneurs and VC's alike, look to Jabbar's team for inspiration and new ideas. Today Jabbar continues to grow and pave the way for tech in the region. It is in this spirit that Jabbar embraces any entrepreneur who is willing to innovate and take risks in order to create something great. Jabbar nurtures such individuals and supports nascent ideas that are in line with its mission.
The Ministry leads the social work march in its official and national sectors, assisted in shouldering the responsibility by institutions and agencies that continue to play a critical and important role in the fields of social services, and turning the wheels of social development and construction, in order to attain the Jordanian society's objectives of development and achievement. It believes that the spirit of the present era and requirements of life require being up-to-date in the world of science and modernization, working towards success, and transferring the Jordanian citizen into a better future.
The Ministry undertakes a number of activities, programs and services in areas such as the family, childhood, social defense, and special education. Activities associated with these issues are numerous, including planning, follow-up and improved performance, resulting in added dedication towards achieving the profound objectives sought in developing the human being and helping people help themselves, by themselves, for their benefit and for the interest of their society, thus realizing the famous proverb “It is better to teach someone how to fish than to give him a fish”. What a great thing it is to plant, and what a greater thing it is to harvest.
