JANA’S & ABDUL RAHMAN’S STORY 

Jana, 15, and Abed Al Rahman, 10, are orphaned siblings who lost both of their parents. In September 2025, their father passed away after a long struggle with epilepsy. Just three months later, their mother suffered a tragic heart attack caused by overwhelming grief over the loss of her husband and passed away as well.

The children’s lives were suddenly turned upside down, filled with shock and deep sorrow as they struggled to comprehend the rapid succession of events and the loss of the people dearest to them. After their parents’ passing, Jana and Abed Al Rahman moved in with their grandmother, who became their sole caregiver and source of support, providing them with protection and warmth amid these difficult circumstances.

With each new day, their grandmother struggles to secure a stable life for them, while Jana and Abed Al Rahman try to adapt to the loss of their parents, relying on the love and care of their grandmother as they face the harsh challenges of life.
