FAISAL’S STORY
Faisal, a 71 year old man, no longer has the strength to bear life’s burdens. His weak heart has left him unable to work and provide for his family of seven. His son has become the sole breadwinner, carrying the responsibility of his parents, wife, and three young children.
The family lives in a modest 135 square meter home in Irbid, consisting of four rooms, a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Yet, the house that should be their safe haven turns into a source of hardship and fear every winter.
Rainwater leaks through the ceiling of one of the rooms, while the walls are covered with dampness and mold. Part of the house is built from old mud bricks that have been patched and plastered, while the other part is made of cement and concrete blocks, but even that can no longer withstand the harshness of the seasons.
Today, Faisal has nothing but his patience and prayers. Between a body weakened by illness and a crumbling house that threatens his family, he and his loved ones live in constant fear of the coming winter.
Your generosity could mean a safe home, a warmer winter, and renewed hope that restores the peace of mind they so desperately need.
