After a two-year wait for a cornea, which was imported through the Jordanian Eye Bank, it arrived in Jordan on June 8, 2026, the surgery was performed at the Medical City Hospital. It lasted approximately an hour and a half and, by the grace of God, was a success. Now we must wait in the coming days and months to ensure that Aysha’s body does not reject the transplant and therein lies the true success, God willing.
Helping Aysha, now 17 years old, to regain vision in her left eye is a radical change in her life. We wish Aysha complete safety and every success in her life and in her academic and professional pursuits.
