Aysha suffers from severe vision impairment, to the extent that she sees only shadows, and she needs corneal transplants for both eyes. Thankfully, on 06/04/2024, we received the happy news from the Community Contributor that an imported cornea, initially intended for someone else but found to be unsuitable, was a perfect match for Aysha. The corneal transplant was successfully performed in her right eye with minimal complications, and her vision is now excellent with continuous follow-up with her doctor.

Aysha will need at least six more months before the corneal transplant for her left eye can be scheduled. During this period, she must continue using moisturizing eye drops. Thanks to your generosity, since 22/04/2024, we have been providing her with these drops monthly and are also arranging transportation for her monthly medical visits through the Careem app.
