MOHAMMAD’S STORY
Mohammad, 38 years old, is the head of a family of four. He should be their provider, but due to epilepsy, he is unable to work.
He lives with his family in an old, deteriorating room in the village of Umm Qais, Irbid. The room measures 4.5×5 meters, built with unplastered bricks and a bare cement floor. It contains only old floor cushions, a television, and a single wardrobe shared by the whole family. Outside, in a space of barely three meters, they have a small makeshift kitchen and bathroom, both covered with corrugated zinc sheets.
Our goal is to support Mohammad’s family by building two fully equipped rooms (each 4×4 meters). The first will serve as a living space, and the second will be divided into a proper kitchen and bathroom. The rooms will be plastered inside and out, fitted with electrical and plumbing installations, doors, windows, and painted to make them livable.
Contribute today to building two safe rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom for Mohammad’s family, so they can finally live the dignified life they deserve.
