Case description

AMOUNT NEEDED   960 JOD

Hamzeh needs 960 JOD for his special education center fees for one semester (3 months): each month costs 320 JOD (260 JOD for fees and 60 JOD for transportation).

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

After the first round of generous donations that Hamzeh has received through Tadamon, he has been doing much better, thanks to his special education center. He now knows how to write the numbers from 1 to 10, kick and catch a ball, read, color, jump and so much more. Unfortunately, Hamzeh’s family can't afford to keep sending him to the center, yet he is in dire need to continue his learning as it has had a great impact on his behavior, cognitive abilities, physical wellness, and social skills. If he is unable to continue because of financial difficulties, he will most certainly regress.

Since his enrollment in the center, Hamzeh’s linguistic ability has improved and he is able to learn, use and write words. He is now able to differentiate between dangerous situations that he must avoid, and he is communicating much better with his family and those around him.

Hamzeh’s STORY

Hamzeh's family members all suffer from various health complications due to hereditary issues. His father is a day laborer who suffers from fatigue due to his health issues and can barely cover his family's needs. The family consists of three children and their parents. The mother suffers from a type of multiple sclerosis, while the father has diabetes and suffers from macular edema, eczema, and congenital deformation at the bottom of the skull. Being a day laborer, Hamzeh’s father faces a lot of instability and payment deductions seeing as he often misses work to accompany his children to the hospital, or stay home in bed because of his own health issues.
