Undergoing foot and ankle stabilization surgery is essential for Ali to regain his ability to walk normally and improve the quality of his life

AMOUNT NEEDED 2,600 JOD
After a visit to the Specialty Hospital, Ali was diagnosed with having a foot drop due to nerve damage, which requires foot and ankle stabilization surgery to help him regain his ability to walk normally.
ALI’S STORY
Ali, 17 years old, is the youngest of six siblings. In 2021, he began experiencing severe back pain that markedly affected his ability to walk. In an attempt to seek the cause of his condition, an MRI was done that revealed several herniated discs in Ali’s back, leading to an emergency surgery. Following the surgery, Ali began using crutches and a walking aid. He was also prescribed braces to be used consistently, along with physical therapy sessions. While he has shown some improvement, it has not been sufficient to fully restore his ability to walk normally.
Despite his impaired gait, Ali’s love for studying has remained strong, and he still attends school regularly. However, his condition still hampers his ability to play with friends and keep up with them.
