Ali, 17, had been suffering from bilateral foot drop due to a neurological disorder. On 13/07/2025, the first surgery was successfully performed on his left foot. The procedure involved stabilizing the foot and ankle, took about two and a half hours, and concluded without complications. A cast was placed, extending from the foot up to the knee.

Ali was discharged the same day to recover at home. The doctor advised that he keep the foot rested and use crutches when needed.
