Thanks to your donations Farah completed her summer semester. She now needs our help for her second year at university
AMOUNT NEEDED – JOD 93
Thanks to our kind Tadamon community, Farah is thriving at the University of Jordan, with a current GPA of 2.36 despite all her household obstacles and challenges. But she still needs our help to continue her path to success, as her scholarship does not cover registration fees (JOD 53) and the cost of books (JOD 40). She needs to pay those fees as soon as possible so she can enroll in the first semester of 2022/2023.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Farah and her family live on an extremely restricted income, which is approximately JOD 200 a month. Your donations have helped her greatly, alongside her Distinguished Students Scholarship to study at the University of Jordan, however, the scholarship doesn’t cover registration fees, books, and transportation.
She needs our help to continue her studies at university, and a small amount from you can go a long way!
THE FAMILY HISTORY
Farah’s family lost their underprivileged-families health insurance when they bought a modest used car, even though they bought the car with installments, as it was a more feasible option for them than taking public transportation. Farah’s mother suffers from health issues, and needs uterine fiber examinations, and her father works selling goods on the side of the road. Her mother cannot continue her treatment due to the suspension of their insurance, and her father can barely manage the cost of food, rent and utilities, let alone school for his children.
