Farah is a smart, ambitious girl who needs a little help alongside her scholarship to keep studying!
AMOUNT NEEDED
Farah and her family live on an extremely restricted income, which is approximately JOD 200 a month. It is used to pay for rent, groceries, utility bills and basic necessities.
What Farah needs is just JOD 64 for the current summer semester to pay her transportation fees, which are not covered by her scholarship. The semester is from 20/07/22 - 17/09/22, yet Tadamon will cover 20 days, which is the duration starting from 21/08/22.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Farah is a very smart, hardworking, and ambitious girl who graduated from school with a 92% average, getting her the Distinguished Students Scholarship to study at the University of Jordan. However, the scholarship doesn’t cover registration fees and books. She works hard to pay for any additional fees, but she needs a little extra help to pay for her transportation this summer.
A small amount from you can help keep her in university, to pursue her BA Degree in Business Administration, and help support herself and her family one day.
THE FAMILY HISTORY
Farah’s family lost their underprivileged-families insurance when they bought a modest used car, even though they bought the car with installments, as it was a more feasible option for them than taking public transportation. Farah’s mother suffers from health issues, and needs uterine fiber examinations, and her father works selling goods on the side of the road. Her mother cannot continue her treatment due to the suspension of their insurance, and her father can barely manage the cost of food, rent and utilities, let alone school for his children.
