Saleh is in desperate need to undergo lab testing to determine if he is afflicted with Familial Mediterranean Fever
AMOUNT NEEDED 150 JOD
This sum covers the cost of lab testing for Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF), which will determine if Saleh suffers from the disease. If the test isn't performed and he continues to endure the pain, it might eventually result in kidney failure.
SALEH’S STORY
A young spirit named Saleh strives to overcome obstacles that would daunt many adults. At just 11 years old, he has already faced the loss of his father and the disheartening reality of a life without proper support.
Saleh's determined and resourceful mother works tirelessly to provide for her children's education and basic needs. Despite her illiteracy, she's found a way to ensure her kids attend school, even allocating funds for a private tutor. But the weight of Saleh's health concerns adds a layer of hardship to their journey.
She watches her child suffer, feeling helpless that she cannot afford the medical attention he needs. Saleh complains of abdominal pain, severe joint pain, and a high fever. When these symptoms occur, he remains confined to his bed for about a week until he recovers. After consulting a doctor, Saleh's mother was informed that he likely suffers from Mediterranean fever, and further examination is necessary to confirm this diagnosis. Saleh's father had also suffered from the same condition and unfortunately passed away.
His eyes sparked joy when he realized there are people out there who care and are willing to stand by his side through his health journey. His story's a glimmer of hope, a chance for us to make a difference and be the helping hand he rightly deserves.
