NAJLA’S STORY

Najla, 52 years old, is the sole provider for her only son after her separation. She lives in a house that lacks basic necessities and is also saturated with dampness and mold, which poses health risks to her and her son, who suffers from asthma and diabetes.

Najla relies on the amount she receives from social assistance and also on zakat funds, both of which are insufficient to cover her son's medication expenses, as well as the costs of electricity and water.

After the Community Contributor inspected Najla's house, he informed us that she is in desperate need of assistance and that her situation is very dire.
