MALAK'S STORY

Malak is 20 years old. She is studying accounting at Al-Balqa Applied University. She has completed two academic years as well as the first semester of her third year. She is now in the second semester of her third year. Last semester, Malak got a GPA of 3.51. 

Malak wants to register 9 hours of study for the upcoming summer semester in the year 2022/2023, which will start on July 16, 2023 and end on August 31, 2023. She needs help in covering the cost of books as well as transportation as these expenses are not included in the student grant.

Malak lives with her family of eight, and her father suffers from mental illness, he is also deaf and mute since birth, which prevents him from working. Therefore, there is no breadwinner for her family, and the financial conditions are very difficult. Malak is determined and insists on raising her GPA and graduating with distinction so that she can then work and help her parents improve their economic situation. This is what seeks and wants to achieve.
