HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Malak has finished two years of university with a GPA of 3.4 in her accounting major. She has completed 63 credit hours and has 69 left to graduate. However, Malak’s father suffers from debilitating mental health issues due to his being deaf and mute his entire life, and therefore cannot help Malak pay for university or even provide for his family. Her mother can no longer work as she takes care of her husband and children.
Let us help Malak continue university so she can help her family and become an independent, productive member of society.
THE FAMILY HISTORY
Malak’s family consists of eight people. Her father has been deaf and mute since birth, and by the time he reached his 30s, he developed a mental health disorder and could no longer work. Malak’s mother suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes and cannot work anymore because she takes care of her husband and her daughter.
Malak has only one brother who works; he is an employee at a hypermarket. The rest of the family depends on a monthly income from social security, which is about JOD 230, and some help from national aid and donations.
