ISAM’s STORY

Isam, 57 years old, wishes to obtain a commercial driver’s license to create a source of income to support himself and his family. His entire family of nine includes his wife, five children, parents and himself. His five kids comprise: first son (30 years), second son (28 years), third son (24 years), fourth son (19 years), and youngest daughter (17 years). Isam’s mother is 80 years old and suffers from half-body paralysis, for which she takes medication.

Currently, two of Isam’s children are undergoing Tawjihi this year, another is applying to work for a department store and another received his university degree in Marketing from the University of Jordan and now works from home. One of the kids previously worked in a multinational retail corporation but is presently unemployed. Overall, Isam’s sons are consistently striving for better jobs.

Isam would like to gain sufficient income by acquiring a commercial driver’s license and subsequently seeking employment within the public or private sector as a bus driver.
