After consulting with a specialist, Ezz Aldeen was diagnosed with complete hair loss on the back of his head, extensive scarring on his neck and back, and contractures that severely limit his neck movement. He also has scars on his lower limbs that require treatment.

Ezz Aldeen will also need laser treatments and additional procedures to treat his back scars when he turns 15–16.

EZZ ALDEEN’S STORY

At just three and a half, Ezz Aldeen’s life changed forever. A family barbecue turned into tragedy when a sudden flare-up from the fire spread uncontrollably. The flames reached Ezz Aldeen, leaving him with severe burns covering 40-60% of his body.

Unfortunately, his father did not survive. Ezz Aldeen still carries the physical and emotional scars of that day. Without treatment, his condition will worsen over time and will make everyday activities even more difficult.
