After a long wait of 15 months in raising funds for Basma’s surgery, the doctor didn’t clear her for it due to the severe dryness in her eyes. Therefore, Basma had to be put on hydrating eye drops for a while until she was eligible for the surgery. 

On 24/06/2025, Basma underwent her eye surgery that took 15 minutes per eye. She was discharged on the same day to continue her recovery at home. Some necessary eye drops were prescribed and Basma was scheduled for a routine checkup.

Thanks to your generous donations, Basma’s eyesight was corrected and she can see perfectly.
