With the Family Income Going Towards Her Mom’s Cancer Treatment, Hanan Can’t Afford to Continue Her Education
"Helping people with special needs has always been my dream; studying ‘Measuring and Diagnosing Autism Disorders’ will help me achieve my goal of helping everyone with special needs to not feel like they are different from everybody else. I love my specialization because it is humane, and much more rewarding to me than any other paying job. My dream is to graduate and be able to work in my field and support and help people with special needs." – Hanan
AMOUNT NEEDED - JOD 90
With most of the family’s income going towards her mom’s cancer treatments, Hanan needs financial aid to continue her studies at Princess Tharwat Community College, specializing in “Measurement and Diagnosis of Autism Disorders. She has completed one semester as well as the summer semester, she just needs JOD 90 to cover her accumulated fees from the summer semester so she can continue her educational journey.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Hanan’s father works as a driver in the Sahab Industrial Area, and the family’s monthly income (from Hanan’s father and brother) is approximately JOD 450. Her mother has bone cancer, and an amputated leg as well as hearing loss, so her monthly medications and treatments are very expensive, and have taken a toll on the family’s financial situation.
Her mother’s health is certainly a priority, and we do wish her a very speedy recovery, but we would also love to help Hanan not give up on her dream and continue fighting for her future!
