On 15/12/2022, a request was submitted to the Jordanian Eye Bank and the amount of 1,200 JOD was paid for the cost of importing a cornea for Remas. Unfortunately, she lost her cornea in the right eye after she was exposed to severe chemical burns. Moisturizing drops were also purchased so she can use them until the time of her operation.

Remas is currently on the waiting list to receive her cornea; she’s #18 on the queue. Once a cornea is found that matches her specifications, a date for the operation will be set. We will keep you updated on the progress.
