RAWAN’S STORY 

Rawan, 29 years old, is grappling with an immensely challenging respiratory condition. She was born with a congenital heart defect known as dextrocardia, where the heart is positioned on the right side of the body. This condition obstructs her breathing and leads to recurrent and severe asthma attacks. Additionally, Rawan faces a moderate intellectual disability, necessitating continuous care.

Despite these hurdles, Rawan finds solace in creating diverse art forms from clay and crafting handmade pieces. This creative outlet allows her to channel her energies and unleash her artistic ability.

Rawan lives with her parents in a modest home. Her father, now retired, receives a pension that falls short of covering essential living expenses (electricity, water, rent) and the monthly medications he and his wife require.
