Amount needed: 15,000 JOD

RAHAF’S STORY
Rahaf, a 22 year old young woman, has lived her entire life suffering from Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH), a rare hormonal disorder affecting adrenal gland function. Since birth, this condition has caused severe malformations in her urinary and reproductive systems, requiring multiple surgeries over the years.
Her first genital reconstruction surgery was performed at the age of 8, followed by another cosmetic procedure at the age of 10. Yet, despite these interventions, Rahaf continues to experience severe burning during urination and chronic pain. In recent years, she has resorted to IV pain management, but to no avail.
A year ago, Rahaf underwent another surgery, hoping for improvement. Unfortunately, the symptoms persisted. Recently, she consulted Dr. Mohammad Amro, a leading urologist, who after thorough testing and imaging, diagnosed her with complete urethral obstruction and the absence of an external urinary opening.
Rahaf now urgently needs a major reconstructive surgery to widen and rebuild her urethra, preserve urinary control, and restore proper function, an intricate procedure requiring a collaborative team of specialists in urology and gynecologic reconstruction. The estimated cost of this life-changing operation is 15,000 JOD.
Rahaf is at a turning point. This surgery offers her a real chance to live without pain, regain basic bodily functions, and finally experience a normal life.
