More comfort, faster movement, and lots of joy after obtaining Ola's wheelchair and electric medical bed

November 17, 2022 was the day that Ola and her father were eagerly waiting to receive all the medical equipment and medicines that were listed in the campaign.

While they were installing the electric medical bed and wheelchair in her modest house, Ola was smiling for hours! The nurse instructed Ola on how to manage her ulcers, but shortly after examining her, the nurse thankfully discovered that all her ulcers had healed.

The initial campaign had included an amount to cover the cost of the nurse training Ola’s parents on how to deal with the ulcers. But since the ulcers had healed, we reallocated this amount to cover a two week supply of diapers (which are needed on a daily basis). The initial amount for the nurse and supplies was 365 JOD; however, 30 JOD was paid for the nurse’s single visit, leaving a remaining 335 JOD to purchase 570 diapers.

An amount of 100 JOD has also been further discounted from Ibn Sina Medical Center for Ola’s electric medical bed and wheelchair. The cost is now 770 JOD instead of 870 JOD; therefore the difference will be used to buy diapers as well.

"Daddy, I am very delighted that I’m currently sleeping on a comfortable bed! I am grateful to all those who donated." ~ Ola
