NAJLA’S STORY 

Najla is a 10-year-old orphan whose life changed in 2025 when her father passed away due to a sudden heart attack. Since that day, she has been living alone with her mother in Tafila Governorate, in a home filled with grief and emptiness after losing their father and provider.

Najla has no siblings, and her mother is unemployed, which makes their living conditions extremely difficult. They survive on very limited means that are not enough to provide basic household and essential electrical needs to live with dignity. Each day brings new challenges, from daily expenses to unavoidable life necessities.

Despite her young age, Najla is determined to hold on to her dream of education. She needs a tablet to help her study and complete her school assignments, especially as many educational materials now rely on electronic tools. However, this need exceeds her mother’s current financial ability.

Their hardship does not end there. A section of the house roof requires urgent repair, as rainwater leaks inside during winter, increasing their suffering and threatening the safety and stability of their home.

Najla’s story is the story of a young girl who lost her father at an early age but still dreams of a safe life and stable education. She and her mother need support to ease the burden of their circumstances and to give this orphaned child a chance to live with dignity and hope.
