MUNA’S STORY

Muna, a 60 year old widow living in Tafilah, resides in a small 100 square meter home consisting of two rooms, two living areas, a kitchen, and two bathrooms.

What should have been a safe haven has instead become a daily source of hardship.

The house is old and deteriorating; part of it is roofed with concrete, while the other part is covered with zinco sheets that allow rainwater to leak inside during winter. With every cold wave, the home turns damp and unsafe.

The entrance remains unpaved and unfit for use, while the walls and ceilings require urgent finishing and repairs. Moreover, the house lacks proper doors and windows, needs full electrical maintenance, and requires a new refrigerator and oven for Muna to live a normal, dignified life.

Today, Muna needs a helping hand to restore safety to her home and stability to her life—so she can live the rest of her years with dignity, without the fear of a harsh winter or a scorching summer.
