CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION

In some areas, many families still struggle every day to secure the most basic necessities of life, including a simple meal to satisfy their hunger. During this blessed month of generosity and compassion, this campaign aims to extend a helping hand to families living below the poverty line who are unable to provide their daily food.

The campaign aims to feed 195 individuals from the most vulnerable families. It will provide Iftar meals for 95 individuals from 30 families in Tafila Governorate, Burbita area, one of the regions classified among the poorest in the Kingdom, over the course of two days. The campaign will also serve 100 individuals from 35 families in Azmi Al-Mufti Camp/ Irbid, in cooperation with the “Tawfiq & Nimat Fakhouri Foundation”, a charitable development organization committed to supporting communities and promoting sustainable development through youth empowerment, by encouraging creativity, innovation, and community engagement, while also continuing its tradition of giving and support during the holy month of Ramadan.

The size of each family ranges between 5 and 11 members, and all of these families live under very difficult conditions. Some of them include orphaned children and individuals with disabilities, which increases the challenges they face in securing their basic needs.

This campaign aims to bring joy and reassurance to these families by providing generous and diverse Iftar meals during the blessed month. The meal platters include a variety of traditional dishes such as Mandi, Kabsa, Ouzi, and Biryani. Each meal contains two chickens with a total weight of 3 kg, 3 kg of rice garnished with nuts, five containers of yogurt with cucumber, and five containers of special sauce depending on the dish served that day.

As the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "The best of deeds is to bring happiness to a fellow believer, relieve him of debt, or feed him bread." Through this campaign, we hope to be a source of relief for these families and to share with them the joy of Iftar in the month of mercy, proving that solidarity and compassion are still alive within our community, and that goodness can always reach those who need it most.
