HABES’ STORY
Habes, 42 years old, the only provider of income for a family of seven. He lives in a village in a home made from a tin-roof and cement floor consisting of a small bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The house is in desperate need for repairs and restorations in order to secure a decent life and healthy environment for Habes and his family.
The daily pay that Habes receives from his work in the butchery does not allow him to make any financial contributions in any capacity to the house repairs. He uses his already-small income to pay for his ill children’s medicine, doctor visits and consultations, food and drinks.
The Community Contributor, along with the support of generous donors, successfully renovated Habes' home, making it entirely suitable for living. However, essential items are still needed by Habes and his family to ease their daily life and ensure their happiness is complete.
