GHOFRAN’S STORY
Ghofran, 25 years old, is the eldest daughter in her family, which consists of 8 members. Her father passed away while she was still studying. Her mother became the sole provider for her children through her husband's retirement pension, which is not sufficient to cover the education expenses of Ghofran and her three older siblings who are in university, in addition to the expenses of the younger siblings attending school and other mandatory monthly expenses.
In 2018, Ghofran completed her high school with a 67% grade and wished to study pharmacy. She enrolled in a diploma program at Al-Balqa Applied University and completed it with a 72.6% grade. Afterward, she bridged to pursue a bachelor's degree in the same field at the university. Forty credit hours were transferred out of the required 160 credit hours. She is now academically in her final semester at the university and is set to graduate at the end of the first semester of 2024/2025.
