ARYAM’S STORY 

In Tafileh Governorate, specifically in the area of Al-Burbayta, lives 17-year-old Aryam — a soft girl with unshakable determination.

She is currently in her final year of high school (scientific stream). For most, this is just another academic year — but for Aryam, it’s a life-defining battle.

Aryam’s home is unlike others: a very modest structure without electricity or running water. Even the light she uses to study at night comes from a small kerosene lamp. Despite all of this, she excels in her studies, working twice as hard without complaint or weakness.

Her family is in deep financial hardship, with every penny spent solely on the bare essentials — if those are even available. But Aryam doesn’t use poverty as an excuse. Instead, she turns it into motivation. She dreams of becoming a compassionate nurse or a pharmacist who brings healing to others. Her dream is not a luxury, but a necessity — her only way to change her reality.

What sets Aryam apart is not only her perseverance but her deep understanding that education is her path to escape a harsh reality.
