On 02/10/2024, Areej successfully underwent surgery to remove her tonsils and adenoids, and she was discharged the same day to recover at home.

Areej needed a week after the operation to recover and now she is able to enjoy any food and drink without pain, gaining better health and making up for what she lost previously.
