ANWAR’S STORY
Anwar, 20 years old, completed her literary high school diploma in 2022 with a GPA of 72.2%. Based on her grades, she competed to enroll in Al-Balqa Applied University, majoring in Psychology. In her first year, she completed 60 credit hours out of 132 and aims to register for an additional 18 credit hours for the second semester of 2024/2025.
After her father was diagnosed with cancer and lost his physical ability to work, he requires special care. This increased the burden of covering university expenses for Anwar and her sister, in addition to basic expenses such as electricity, water, and food. All of these expenses cannot be covered adequately by the modest amount her father receives from social security.
