DUAA’S STORY
Duaa, 30 years old, lost her husband two years ago to a sudden heart attack, leaving her alone to care for four young children of which the youngest was just two years old, and the eldest only eleven.
She lives with her children in a remote village in Irbid Governorate that lacks basic services. Their small 70-square-meter home is old and severely deteriorated: rain seeps through the roof in winter, and unbearable heat fills the rooms in summer. The house requires interior repairs, including new brick walls and concrete roofing for the kitchen and bathroom, and it lacks most essential furniture and appliances a family needs for a dignified life.
Despite her strength and patience, Duua has no job or income to provide for her children or repair their home.
With your support, we can help make Duaa’s house safe and livable again: a warm, secure place where her children can sleep peacefully and grow with hope.
