On September 14, 2024, Retal underwent a successful one-hour surgery and was discharged from the hospital the same day. She needed rest at home for two weeks to fully recover, keeping her eye covered with gauze to protect it from dust and germs.

Retal had suffered from a drooping left eyelid since birth, and on the day of her surgery, she was filled with excitement and joy at the thought of finally seeing her eye appear normal, ending her daily struggle. Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to change Retal's life, allowing her to see the world clearly for the first time.

Now, Retal is back to school feeling confident.
