YARA’S STORY

 

Yara, a 23-year-old, lives with her family of seven members. Her mother works in a factory, striving to support her children and provide for their needs. Above all, she emphasizes the importance of education, ensuring they achieve the highest academic qualifications to equip them for a more stable future.

In 2019, Yara completed her literary high school degree with an impressive 83% average. She enrolled at Al al-Bayt University to pursue her education, majoring in Islamic Jurisprudence and Sciences. Throughout her first year, she successfully completed 21 credit hours. During this time, she had the aspiration to retake her computer science, mathematics, and Islamic sciences exams from high school to improve her overall GPA. Surprising her family, she achieved an outstanding 85.9% after the retakes. Motivated by her determination, she later shifted her academic focus to law at Mutah University, allowing her to achieve her initial goal.

Currently, by the end of this year 2024/2025 Yara will have completed 124 credit hours out of 142 hours, The cost per credit hour is 15 JODs. Her cumulative GPA stands at an impressive 85%.
