Case update - Crying is the only way Aya expresses what she wants or requests
Aya embarks on a learning journey, continuously improving her skills in special education

07 - 05 - 2024

Aya, whose name she doesn't know nor can she recognize her actions, has embarked on a journey of learning. On April 1st, 2024, she began attending a special education center, and after one month, she has significantly benefited. Being that she is 5 years young, this allows her to more rapidly absorb the information she receives.

Aya now verbally requests objects, gives visual cues, and follows simple commands like sitting on a chair or throwing a ball. Her focus and attention have increased during playtime, and she mimics the speech therapist, imitating animal sounds. Additionally, Aya's speech clarity has improved through the use of the segmentation strategy.

We hope for Aya's continued progress in the coming months, and we will keep you updated on all developments regarding her speech and behavior.
