20 families in Gaza Refugee Camp, Jerash, are unable to provide food for themselves on a monthly basis

AMOUNT NEEDED   1,600 JOD

The amount includes providing food parcels worth 40 JOD each, for two months, to twenty families living in Gaza Camp, Jerash.

Each parcel contains:

1 kg of chickpeas

1 kg of lentils

6 packs of pasta

1 pack of chicken bouillon cubes (contains 12 cubes)

1 can of halva

1 pack of tea (100 bags)

1 pack of powdered milk

1 carton of eggs

1 bag of rice

1 gallon of oil

4 cans of tomato paste

4 cans of fava beans

4 cans of tuna

4 cans of sardines

1 pack of table salt

4 chickens

1 kg of minced meat

2 kg of cucumbers

2 kg of tomatoes

2 kg of potatoes

2 kg of onions

2 kg of bananas

1 kg of apples

Through our visits to several homes in Gaza Camp, Jerash, we found families unable to secure the most basic food and grocery items. Meat and chicken are considered luxuries that they might receive from kind-hearted people during happy occasions.

The financial situation of the 20 families is dire, as they do not have a stable monthly income. As a result, they prioritize paying rent and essential expenses like electricity and water, followed by securing their food needs with the remaining amount.

Through this campaign, we will be able to bring joy to the homes of 20 families, some of which are extended families, while others are widows without any provider.
